We are very excited to share that Elizabeth Clayton recently won The IARFC® National Financial Plan Competition in Asheville, NC, during the IARFC 40th Celebration and Conference!
The premise of this competition was to provide the “real-world” experiences needed to develop a financial plan. The competition culminated in Elizabeth presenting her plan in person to a “real client” at the IARFC Annual Meeting in front of a live audience. Following this presentation, she was awarded 1st place, showcasing her talent and dedication to financial planning.
Elizabeth’s journey into finance began at The University of North Texas, where she discovered her interest in financial planning during a personal finance class. With guidance from her professor, she found a career path that merged her passion for finance with her desire to make a positive impact through relationships.
Outside of her studies, Elizabeth’s involvement in Delight Ministries, a women’s Bible study group, highlighted her knack for building meaningful connections. Now, as a Financial Planning Specialist at Grunden Financial Advisory, Inc., she brings this same dedication to her work, helping clients feel confident and secure in their finances.
Graduating in May 2024 with a BBA in Financial Planning, Elizabeth is not just committed but deeply dedicated to contributing to her client’s success at Grunden Financial Advisory, Inc. Beyond work, she enjoys spending time with her family and sharing hobbies like watching sports and staying active with her husband.
